Welcome to the official web site of the Gold Wing Road Riders Indiana R2, Roadrunners. We are group of motorcycle enthusiasts that share the love of Motorcycling, and our motto, Friends for Fun, Safety, and Knowledge. We mostly ride Honda Goldwings, but we also have other brands in all shapes, sizes, and colors. But the most important aspect of our club is that we all share one thing: we love to ride and ride for a cause.
We have three rides that are very important to us. Ride for Kids sponsors the pediatric Brain Tumor research fund. The A.N.N.A. Rally and Ball raises money for the Neuroblastoma cancer research (We have members that have lost family to both diseases.) And we also have our Nursing Home Rides in which we visit local nursing homes, visit with the residents, and give some of them short rides on our bikes. The smiles we put on their faces is worth it!
We meet on the second Saturday of the month at Rico's Bar & Gill in Rensselaer, In. We also have Wednesday night dinner rides and Sunday afternoon rides. We take day, weekend, and week trips during the riding season. Hardly a week goes by that someone isn’t doing or going somewhere.
But most of all we love getting together with our extended family, to ride, eat, share stories and have fun. Please feel free to look around our web site and check out what we are up to and maybe you will want to join us for one of our rides.
Yours truly,
In Loving Memory of our Chapter Directors that were taken from us too soon. We know that they are with God and riding their Wings everywhere.
